Free Medicine recipient Marilyn Pera, from San Mateo, California sent a e-mail to Free Medicine Foundation on May 22, 2008; it reads:"Dear Cindy-I can't thank you and the Foundation enough for assisting me and providing me help with my medications. I lost my medical insurance in February 2008 and luckily I saw your information on my doctors bulletin board. My medication expense is over $1000.00 a month and although my doctor was supplying me with various samples, I sometimes had to go without when he was out of them. I feel like this is a miracle and I am very grateful for your assistance. Thank you so much."

Wow, Marilyn. I am so glad you have your medication now. I haven't seen you since you moved up to the city. I hope you are still working the program. From the looks of you, you must be deathly ill cause I have never seen you look so bad.
Hmm..this looks like Marilyn from Carmel. I am sorry to hear you are sick. Have you been sick for a long time? I thought you were well off finacially. I mean you own several houses. I would suspect that the house in Carmel alone would be worth close to $1 million. And then, the diamond ring you wear all the time must be worth upwards of tens of thousands of dollars...and then the 4 mercedes you own and other vehicles...I thought you were set for retirement. I hope you get well soon...and I hope you are able to straighten out your money problems. You are the last person I would have thought would need welfare, freebies, hand outs...If you are hungary, the salvation army generally has a free hot meal available. I feel for you. I had no idea you were so sick. I have no doubt you are really sick, just take one look at your picture. You look worse than I have ever seen you, despite the brave smile and tons of make up.
